He was so selfish. So flawed. As ugly on the inside as he was beautiful on the outside.
Ryland is the CEO and heir to billions in real estate fortune, he has three bestfriends name Gabe, Cam and Theo when he was 18. They ran their high school and their town, they were born to money and privilege. They destroyed a family because of greed. Ten years later, their pst come back to hunt them down.
Allie and her sister lost everything that night ten years ago. For ten years they are trying to live and build a new life even they are struggling. Until Ryland shows up and demanding to Allie to help him and he is willing to pay to get that help.
I like Ryland but I don't like the things he have done in the past. When Allie knew the truth she was devastated and Ryland works really hard to get Allie back and to earn her trust back.
I love the story of this book and the characters are not annoying. I am really looking forward for the next book. I think Theo has a thing for Allie's sister Karin.
"I want you" Ryland said bluntly, "and everything I do is geared towards having you. I can't lie about that. And I'm not gonna applogize for it.
