Wall Street Journal bestselling author Ilsa Madden-Mills and USA Today bestselling author Tia Louise are back with an all-new romantic comedy filled with Southern sass and steamy scenes that will have you laughing out loud and fanning yourself. Pour the sweet tea and get ready…
“The best way to get over your sh**ty ex-fiancĂ© is to get under a shiny new stud…”
As soon as Mr. Tall, Blond, and Handsome walks into that bar, I know he’s the hook-up I need to get over stupid Cheater Kyle.
A few stolen kisses in a dark hallway, and I’m pretty sure we’re headed for a home run—until he disappears without a trace.
Whatever. Men are all snakes in the grass, and I don’t need a new one anyway.
I resolve to forget about his perfect lips (and chest of steel) and instead focus on turning my Granny’s old beach house into a profitable B&B.
What I don’t expect is for him to show up the next day in my kitchen!
You see, my sexy mystery man is none other than Jax Roland, the drop-dead gorgeous home improvement star of The Right Stud, and he’s got an offer I can’t refuse.
With a suitcase in one hand and a hammer in the other, he wants to move in and renovate my old house while he films his new show.
But my roommate has secrets, and they threaten to rip our blossoming friendship—and possible love—apart.
When push comes to shove, is Jax really The Right Stud or is he just another nail in the coffin of love?
REVIEW
This book is about Jax Roland who lives in New York and who have two jobs one is a Realtor in Property Development Firm and on weekends he renovates houses for his show "The Right Stud". And Ashton who owns or should I say inherited a B&B along with her brother from their grandmother, Ashton needs to renovate the B&B and it will cost a big amount of money so she emailed Jax Roland, she wants Jax to film the renovation for his show so that it will help her cover cost of all repair. Jax and Ashton first met in the bar. Ashton was there because her bestfriend forced her to go out to local bar and drink while Jax was there with a date because his sister set him up on a blind date. When Jax saw Ashton entered the bar his eyes followed her for some reason. Jax made excuses to his date to follow Ashton to the restroom and then Ashton slam into Jax chest. They kissed and Jax said to her that he has a quick errand to run and will be right back. Ashton waits but Jax never returns.
The next morning Jax arrived at the home to meet his new client and he was shocked to see Ashton, he wants to explain about the bar incident but Ashton doesn't want to hear his explanation and they agree that the only relationship they will be having is strictly business partners. The attraction between Jax and Ashton grows everyday as they get to know each other. Jax was hiding something from Ashton though and their relationship was in jeopardy when Jax secret was revealed. Ashton who experienced heart break and betrayal from her ex-fiancee only wants honesty and she thinks Jax isn't capable of that.

I really like both of the characters and I love Mrs. C, Jean Claude Van Ram (Pet of Ashton bestfriend) and the bird who repeats everything he hears (he always swears). There are plenty of sweet, funny and sexy moments and the right amount of drama. Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise did a really great job writing this book.
