I am a big fan of Paranormal Romance and I was so happy that I found this book. I read this book in one sitting because I really want to know what happened next. Its a series book and the second book is not out yet so its really a cliffhanger.
The characters in this books lives in a world where vampires exist and they are the one ruling it while humans are living in poverty. Reyna along with his brothers are poor, her brothers work in a factory so that they will have money to buy food. Reyna decides to become a blood escort so that she can help her brother and doesn't want to be a burden to them. Reyna was chosen to be part of the new program which is the subject stays with the sponsor permanently, she agreed because because the monthly salary is double. She meets Beckham Anderson, a powerful vampire and one of the higher up of Visage and her Sponsor.
“Everyone is corrupt. Everyone is broken.” “I’m not,” she whispered. “Oh Little One, this world will kill the goodness left within your beating heart.” “But it will not break me.” “No,” he agreed. He leaned his head into her hair and drew a deep breath. “I will do that.”
I love Reyna, she is a good sister and a fantastic heroine. Beckham or Beck's is mysterious,dark, a control freak and sexy vampire. I like Reyna's brothers too they are really caring and protective. The story is beautiful and heartbreaking and a must read. I am really looking forward to read the next book.
